Prayer Base for a New Ministry
Mrs. Incredible covets your prayers to begin a support ministry for families with young people facing mental health challenges. May the Lord bring those with first hand experience and/or with humble hearts to join our team. Due to stigma and misundertanding, the kind of support these families may get from the community is often minimal. Their anger or doubt against God in their pain further kept them from getting the hope and help they need to heal.
7 Days of Prayer for our Canadian families and youth and this new ministry:
Day 1 - We will repent and not take our relationship with our 1 creator and redeemer for granted.
Day 2 - We will not serve 2 masters and think we can get away with it. Whether it is money, social
media, substance, relying on unhealthy escapes to heal.
Day 3 - We were led to the young people of 3 families who are burdened to pray and reach out
due to the mental health challenges their family member is facing. We are asking for
guidance and provision from here.
Day 4 - 4 out of 5 young people with mental health challenges are not receiving any help. Let's pray that we be a channel of His grace.
Day 5 - Let us remember the 1 in 5 Canadians who are facing mental health challenges. The BC
substance abuse opioid crisis results in 4.5 deaths per day, a 97.1 % rise compared to the same time last year.
Day 6 - Let us come to our Divine Counselor for the gifts that only He can give. These 6 gifts of the Spirit such as love, joy, peace, patience, faithfulness self-control that our circumstances and
the world cannot give.
Day 7 - 7 stands for perfection. Let us claim the cleansing power of His blood, the complete atonement for our sins and His perfect love to cover our rebelliousness and heal our land.
